The figures are inclusive of all the stage of the judicial process of foreclosure. It is a 79.9% jump over the first three months of 2008 and 22.5% rise above the last quarter of 2007. The foreclosure rate is 1:136 in Georgia. Atlanta foreclosure listings are not far behind.

Atlanta foreclosure listings including the metro areas of Sandy Springs, Marietta registered 22,554 houses. The number of Atlanta foreclosure listings made it rank 16 among the metro regions.
